Google Instant Sucks…Right?
If you haven’t googled anything recently then you haven’t been online PERIOD. Google recently released something new to web surfers called “Google Instant”. The premise is that as soon as you start typing in character (letters) results start to appear. If you can head over to Google and start typing “Google Instant Sucks” - no results, until you hit enter. Thank you Gaberial for the heads up on this.

As you can tell I am not a huge fan of Google Instant. However, there are some benefits when it comes to SEO…kinda. Still in its development stage Google Instant from a SEO’er perspective gives you quick keywords/phrases. While the debate is still up on the true benefits of Google Instant as it is suppose to increase performance results according to Google. However, waiting less than 4 seconds on my results isn’t truly life or death.
I’m wondering if this is to get the topic off Google Wave being cancelled?

I think this is another move aimed at increasing the risk inherent in SEO and reducing the possible ROI comparatively to AdWords. Google is in competition with SEOs to sell businesses search traffic. This joins a long list:
- Personalization
- Local results
- Shopping
- Images
- Video
- News
- Twitter
- Expandable AdWords
- Expandable #1 SEO result (all others pushed down)
- Multiple listings for #1 result (good for #1, but less money and therefore greater risk for 9/10 people on page 1).
I’m interested to see though how this does in fact hit the Adwords campaign when it comes to an CTC.
I changed my start to dnuof.com . It still allows google searching, but doesnt have the instant crap.

disable java and javascript only for google site (0p3ra + [F12] )

they will not be able to ignore it !
