Where I've Been and What I've Learned

Every year around my birthday (yes, it’s tomorrow) I do a write-up on what I’ve learned from a professional stand point to personal. This year is no different – so get ready to learn a little bit more about me, if you’re interested.

Where Are You Going and Where Are You At?

In life we are always getting pulled in different directions. Constantly moving and getting work done and checking off items for our daily “To-Do” and I know personally I ask myself where am I going. This happens yearly around my birthday and this year is no different.

Who Am I and Why Are You Reading My Blog?

This is a common question I ask myself a lot. Not just when I’m writing up a blog but when I ‘put it out there’ and actually get comments {doesn’t happen too often}. I always ask the same question when I’m reading other blogs and have to ask, “why am I reading this blog…who is this person, really?”

Finding Time to Prioritize

Ah the feeling of a clean desk, desktop and even bookmarks – nothing beats that. Organization at its finest. I love it yet find it hard to do it sometimes because of all the things I am involved in. One of the reasons I love StumbleUpon is just because I don’t feel like organizing a bookmark. My “to file” of papers in my home office is ridiculous. As soon I get to it I forget where to file them. The next step is usually me trying to break down various possibilities to how they can take their company/product brand to a whole new level of demographics. It is usually here I get the response, “We’re not into spamming,” this is where it gets tricky.

The Quest for Answers: Google!

Consider this more than a rant more than anything. Yesterday, for one reason or another I had numerous people coming up to me asking the most annoying questions. Questions I didn’t have the answers to but know where to find them but it would take majority of the day. So, I told them to look for it themselves and long story short: they huffed and went away angry….why?

Does Feedburner still have bugs?

Consider this more of a question blog because I am truly baffled by this now. It has been a few weeks since the release of the way to hack feedburner and almost immediately after the various tutorials were released feedburner numbers became jumbled. So, what happened?

Managing Success

I know it’s pretty difficult to juggle balls. I’ve tried and can do about three for about 30 seconds at the most before they start going everywhere. The same idea goes when we are trying to manage items in our life that we feel are striving towards what we have deemed success. Yet, realistically we are already at that plateau we just haven’t realized it.

Social Media minus the Social

I’ve been contemplating this post for awhile now and feel its time to put it all out there. I am very pro-social media IF used correctly. However, at the same time it can take away a lot from regular social interaction.
