Finding Your Niche
Why are people so interested in trying to make quick money online by writing a blog about making money online? Seriously people: STOP IT! Consider this my plea to people to stop trying to copy everyone and come up with your own niche.
Getting a niche isn’t difficult at all – write what you know and stop there. If you know music then write about it. If you know about coffee then write about it. If you know tea cups write about it.
Are you getting the point yet?
You will be surprised what you end up writing about. The next step is being consistent. Don’t overdo it with 20 quick post daily. Your readers will be in over load and stop their subscription with you. My suggestion is do at least once a day. Or every other day. In doing this it will allow fresh content for readers. Above all make good content. Content is the end all of be all. Your content will determine on whether or not the success of the blog happens.
In writing good content you need to relate to the readers. In doing so spelling and grammar sometimes does not matter. That is correct ladies and gentlemen there are certain times when a blogger has a post and gets the point across without being grammatically correct. I’ve visited various sites and have found those that show they are “human” get more subscribers and more commenter’s. While those that try to use big words (thanks thesaurus) that have no need in the post.
This topic has been covered about three million times but yet everyday I hear about so-and-so starting a blog about making money online but have no real qualifications. Do what you know and if your interested in making money online start by doing so THEN write about it. For now just have fun and go from there.

Thank you for this reminder. I had no intentions of writing about making money online, but sometimes it is hard to think of what to write and not just be telling the stories of my life. I have two blogs, this one I listed here is one I just do random posts, the other one I am trying to make a niche but eventually I want to start another in another whole area, so this was a great reminder for me.
Thanks for the comment Peggie -
Its not hard as some might think. It all starts with what you like to do and then evolves from there.
Good luck with both of them!
